ChuckleADuck is a webcomic that examines atheism, religion, politics, and general silliness from its own unique perspective. Its audience includes atheists, evangelicals, the spiritual, the cynical, young, old, liberals, conservatives and the occasional space alien.
This is… disturbingly accurate, come to think about it. You put yourself down as one particular political party, no matter how devoted to it. Maybe you actually personally disagree with a lot of Republican or Democrat policies, but you still label yourself by them. Maybe you agree wholeheartedly and radically with each and every label and despise those that differ one iota from the guidelines… Yikes.
… Not sure what to take from that, but… yikes ._.
In the US you can choose your religion, you can only barely influence your political party.
In the US you can choose to which religious collection box your money goes in, but you can only try to influence which politician will take your money.
Au contraire. In the US you can choose your religion as easily as you can choose your political party. And you can influence either of them to the same degree … hardly at all.

Unless you create your own of course. But then you’re free to do this with both, as far as I know.
Best definition I ever heard of a political party was “a support group for people who can’t think for themselves.” (Can’t – or won’t.)
…That definition also fits with the extremists in religions too…
